Day 1 : May 10th 2012, Geneva – Heathrow – Los Angeles, CA
Day 2 : Los Angeles, CA – Palm Springs, CA (190 Miles/306 Kms)
As soon as we have rent our Harley Davidson at Eagle Rider (Los Angeles 11860 S. La Cienega Blvd. Hawthorne, CA 90250).
Our ride today take us to an elevation of almost 8000 feet before dropping down the back side of the San Jacinto Mountains in to the desert oasis of Palm Springs.
From Los Angeles using the sub way San Diego Fwy (n. 5) then Ortega Hwy (n.74) via Lake Elsinore then Emet with a quick break at the station and also for a quick burger at Carls’jr Green Burito in Florida Ave (n. 74), This road Idyllwild National Forest Hwy in wonderfull for a first day riding with an Harley. Then we followed Pines to Palms Hwy for a Break at Lake Hemet . On the same road the next stop is an overview of Palm Springs.. Going down to Palm Springs via Hwy 111 E Palm Canyon Dr
Day 3: Palm Springs, CA – Laughlin, NV (232 Miles/374 Kms).
After our breakfast at Ruby’s Diner we take back our Harley and few miles later we have had a wonderful landscape with all Windmills wind farm. Then quick shopping stop at Palm Springs Harley Davidson
Next break was at Joshua Tree National Park, This park is famous for the incredible rock formations and all its Yucca brevifolia. On that road do not hesitate to make some stop, have a walk or even a quick climb on these rocks
